Alfred W.Siegrist, CPA As principal of the firm. Fred has practiced as a CPA for over 30 years. During that time he has devoted almost all of his time to providing quality services to business clients and not-for-profit organizations.
Fred's early years included 10 years of full time service in hotel and restaurant management. In 1966, he completed the undergraduate accounting and finance program at Bentley College and after gaining experience at a national CPA firm in Boston, began his accounting practice.
Fred started as a one person sole-proprietor. As business grew, he recruited seasoned professionals with diverse and complementary skills to meet the expanding needs of his business clients. He continually promoted skill improvement and a team approach to client problem solving. As a result of his effort, the firm has evolved into a team that is trained to work together to proactively meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Fred has participated on development teams which have developed or revitalized over 10,000 units of family and elderly housing in eastern Massachusetts.
He has worked with both for profit and not-for-profit organizations to develop accounting systems, business plans and tax strategies. In 1985 he formed and was the first president of the National Computer Consulting Network, a non-profit professional organization for CPA's which focuses on computer systems development. Through this association, the firm has developed the ability to support our clients' computerized systems with confidence.
